Is my credit score too low for reverse mortgage?

At this point I feel like reverse mortgage is one of very few options that I have. I have a very low credit score. Is it possible that I may be rejected for reverse mortgage if my credit score is too low?

There are no credit score requirements in order to get a reverse mortgage, so not to worry! Reverse mortgages are not repaid via monthly payments, so good credit is not something that we must require. However, a credit report may be used during the process and will only be used to check any federal tax liens or other items present that may affect qualification.

If you are running out of options, please consult one of our reverse mortgage professionals. They will be able to talk to you about your specific situation and help you decide if a reverse mortgage is right for you.
